24.8.2010 - Toni Gardemeister enters Latvian rally world

In final weekend of July Flying FInn Toni Gardemeister drove superb 4th fastest result in Super2000 of WRC Rally Finland. Now on final weekend of August he enters Latvian Rally Kurzeme which is driven in city of Liepaja.

Gardemeister also takes his first step to nations soil, spectates rally as a organizers guest and drives VIP-car in Fridays' Super Special Stages.

- I'm very impressed to have an opportunity to get myself known to bragged latvian rally scene, its' teams and especially see things as organizator sees them. Furthermore I'll be giving a ride of their life for organizers VIP-people in Super Special Stage of the rally. I'm very happy to be seated in a rally car again, Gardemeister tells.

31.7.2010 - Hard attack gave 4th position for Gardemeister in WRC Rally Finland Super2000

Flying Finn Toni Gardemeister drove a trouble-free event in WRC Finland and after 19 special stages and 310 competitive special stage kilometres he was fourth fastest in Super2000. He was also fastest Ford Fiesta S2000 driver but still not satisfied for his driving.

- I was in a good mood and the car worked well even it wasn't as competitive as top-3 Skoda Fabia S2000 cars. Therefore I'm not happy at all, Gardemeister tells.

WInner of WRC Rally FInland Super2000 was Juho Hänninen. He was followed by fellow Skoda Fabia S2000 drivers Per-Gunnar Andersson and Patrik Sandell. Eventually Gardemeister lose 3rd position by 17,2 seconds gap.

- On Saturday, final day of the event, I still tried to push to reach podium. However this time my attack wasn't enough. Even I tried to drive with maximum risk in stages like Leustu, which I know like my own pockets, I lose time for top drivers. It was good to see that I still have my speed as I was able to drive second and third fastest special stage times, Gardemeister continued.

- For this second day my team changed dampers and we were able to get them working pretty well. However I'm still dissapointed that the result wasn't what I hoped for, Gardmeister explained.

No idea about the future

Gardemeister made a strong return to World Rally Championship series in his home round and was able to show that he's still very determinate professional rally driver who is seeking a seat-

- I have to give lots of regards for my sponsors and partners that they believed in me to demonstrate my skills behind the steering wheel of modern Super2000 rally car. I have lots of motivation to drive and to show more of my skills but right now I cannot say where I'm driving next. We'll see what future brings us, Gardemeister hopes.
